The Patriots enter the 2017 season with a totally new artistic staff. Show design will be by Vincent Monacelli, who really needs no introduction, having brought more World Championships to upstate NY than anyone else in the area. Resident staff will consist of Stephanie Waugh and Lindsay Lavicka. Both of these ladies have performed with and written for several guards in the area and are presently affiliated with the Dansville White Sabers, who are competing very successfully in the DCA Drum Corps arena.
The Patriots also would like to announce the formation of a feeder guard, Patriots Too, which will be competing in the RA or A1 class. This will be a less intense program for members who may be not quite ready for Patriots, as well as younger or less experienced people. Design and instruction for this guard will be by longtime Patriots performers Kyle Regan and Emily Sattora, as well as Lindsay Lavicka.
As always, the Patriots will travel to two or three WGI Regional Contests and WGI Dayton as well as local shows in the NE and MY Circuits. Patriots Too will do local shows only, but the members are welcome to travel to WGI shows with the Patriots.
While official auditions for both guards will be on Friday evening, October 7 from 6 till 10 PM and Sunday, October 9, from 10 AM till 2 PM, prospective members who cannot make either of these dates are urged to contact Mr. Hoppe at 585 330 5199 or email@example.com to make alternative arrangements.
The programs of both guards will have all of the usual Patriots perks, such as chartered coach travel, overnights in good hotels, top quality equipment, and reserved front side seats at WGI World Class Championships. The Patriots are known for their experienced professional management, and this is one thing that hasn’t changed.
Please consider being a member of upstate New York’s oldest independent winter guard program (1976) and most experienced WGI contender!
